Very old Android emulator powered by VirtualBox which includes some of the features of an ancient version of Android with integrated developer tools, Google services and terminal emulator.

YouWave is an emulator for the Android OS running version Gingerbread 2.3.

This utility simulates applications and games so that you can test them from your computer just as they would look on your mobile phone without having to physically have an Android device.

YouWave imitates your terminal perfectly, from the Android interface to the touch keyboard, as well as offering several functionalities such as an SD card simulation to record games or online multiplayer mode.

After installation, the YouWave application sets up an almost fully functional Android system on your Windows computer. Apart from a few functions such as the camera or the phone, almost all Android features can be used - including the installation of additional apps with APK files.

You can access one of the mobile app stores directly or install applications from local files. A few graphically less intensive games also run on the system. Apps that use native ARM code, Flash or one of the hardware sensors are not functional.

The only requirement necessary to use Google Play Store is to have a Google account to be able to access it. You'll be able to download apps that you want by simply searching for them and hitting install.

All in all, YouWave is a basic and outdated Android emulation program that can perform and complete a few basic tasks but the newer competition from the likes of MEmu, BlueStacks and maybe LDPlayer can do more.
